Day 34

Ok.....I'm so excited I can't write right.... We just learned the walk-thru date!!!!! June 6th. AND the closing date!!! June (Friday) 13th. I know Friday the 13th... For most folks this day is supposed to be bad luck. For Sir J and I it's just the opposite.

21 Days to go people!!!!

Back to the next developements:

The trim for the back porch was done. John is a true artist. You can tell he loves what he does. He made his own trim to go on the outside of the porch screen. Needless to say we will be living out there!

The trim on the cabinet for the tv is finished. Once again John did a great job.

The bathroom fixtures were put in.....love it, love it

Day 33

The wood floors were finished. The bathroom fixtures are in. Love the pedestal sinks.
The screen doors are on the back porch.

Tomorrow the porch will be screened in!!!

Day 32

The Cabinets are in.....with some mistakes. The microwave was damaged, but will be replaced. The wrong dishwasher was installed.....replaced later. The stove is in with no problems. All in all a nice job. I love my new kitchen!!!

Day 31

THE KITCHEN CABINETS ARE GOING IN!!!!!!!

Ok, ok, so I'm a little excited. But really - aren't they just wonderful?!

Next - the counter tops, appliances, and plumbing.

Day 30

The painting was done. Everything done in Shell White . We hired the same painter to paint a few rooms different colors. He has already painted the kitchen and mudroom in order to be ahead of the folks that will put in the kitchen cabinets and the hot water heater.

The tile in the bathroom was done as well. Isn't it pretty?!

Day 29

The wood floor is in.

The back porch is finished, except for the screening. Can't wait to sit out there with a cup of coffee in the morning and listen to all that quiet.

The doors and trim was delivered......and is in the process of being put up! My oh my!

Day 28

Caught this as Sir J and I was leaving......the light was beautiful! (try not to see the outhouse!)
